What do you have hanging in your hallways?

I live in a ranch and have a hallway down to the bedrooms and I am having such a hard time deciding what to hang on the walls....What do you have hanging in your hallways?

I am doing a picture wall/gallery on one side, nothing on the other.

Nothing it's so small I don't even know if it qualifies as a hallway

Pictures. We have a few collage frames, so we have wedding pics, honeymoon pics, and a few from random family events. (We actually really need to update that one). I have a small shelf with knicknacks also.

We have a colonial. We have black frames w white mats and B&W pics going up the stairs. At the top of the stairs we have a mirror. Upstairs the hallway is "L" shaped. On one wall we have another collage of the same frames from the stairs (all pics of the kids here) and on the other wall we have a framed picture of this saying:

and a hallway light (mounted off the wall).

hmmm thanks for all the suggestions! I did a picture wall in the office which is off the hallway so I feel like it would be picture overload. I like the idea of framing a saying.
