Scared to take Provera
I need to take Provera, have not had my period in 3 months (PCOS). I am nervous looking up all the side effects. How was your experience on it?

youll just get PMS-like symptoms and then your period will arrive somewhere from the last pill or two until a week to ten days later. if you will do any fertility treatments for PCOS...provera is the last drug you need to be concerned about!!

Yup! Made me slightly nuts, but that could've been attributed to waiting 4 months for af.

I agree.. Provera is not a bad drug at all in terms of side effects.........
If you ever get prescribed Prednisone, then we'll talk

I agree with the other girls. Provera is fine. It will bring your period on, you may get AF symptoms but its nothing to be nervous about. Good luck!

Thanks for all the advise. I know this is only the beginning in terms of medication, maybe that is why I am so nervous  But thanks for your experiences, I feel better about taking it now.
