Has anyone ever flown NYC to Puerto Vallarta?
If so, what airline? I'm having a much harder time than I expected finding flights that don't cost an arm and a leg and don't have me traveling for 12+ hours. I'm going in Feb. and meeting my mom and sister who are flying direct from Toronto. Direct flights from NY to PV don't seem to exist!! Has anyone made this trip before???

I've researched this before as well and never saw direct flights. Can you get a good package deal with hotel and airfare...if you find your hotel on orbitz or expedia? You might get a better deal if you book both together.

You csn fly direct to PVR on weekends on Continental outof Newark.

You would have to fly out of Newark. Otherwise you will need to connect in Mexico City. I absolutely LOVE Puerto Vallarta!!!

Inlaws have flown direct out of Newark.
They have flown with stops as well and they recommend connecting in the US as opposed to Mexico.

Thanks all! I can't do a package deal because my mom booked (and is paying for  ) the hotel. I ended up finding somewhat reasonable flights that connect in the US out of LGA which is MUCH closer than Newark. Thanks again!
