i need real help from plus sized mommies

hi ladies.

i am almost 6 ft tall. triple d boobs. and before pg about a size 18/20ishhhhh. i have shot up to the largest size out there which is 24 and that barely fits. i am only 3 months pg.

what am i going to do. jcp macys avenue etc nothing is working PLUS i have to be trendy for work.

i cant afford 50 bucks a tshirt either so i am getting worried.

i am not trying to complain bc i am so grateful to finally be pregnant...but i am scared i am going to end up in mumus kwim? and i guess i feel if i was shorter i can go up in reg clothing sizes but i cant bc i am so tall and on a reg day its hard to find anything.

any suggestion? btdt? ty v much!

have you tried Target? They have some really nice stuff that is appropriate for work... that's where I go.

I have a few pregnancy shirts that you can have if you would like them. They are size 3x from Motherhood from my previous pregnancy. I am still plus sized but have gone down a little bit. I am in Nassau County. If you want to try them on, that's fine.

When I was PG with DD I got my maternity clothes at Motherhood.

Also try Old Navy. I am in a size XL old navy maternity now and their XXL is very generous compaired to the XL. I got a few XXLs and they are big on me. In general I really like Old Navy Maternity.

I hear ya! My boobs have gone to like fetish size and I am only getting bigger. I have two bras that I am wearing and washing all the time.
As for clothes, I bought some stuff at Destination Maternity, Kohls, and Target. Also, try ebay. My boss is heavier than I am and pregnant and told me that she bought stuff there.

I have no luck at target. runs too small. Are you buying maternity or just a new size? you might have more luck with maternity. Maternity fits me better than a new size. Its expensive and the only reason I have clothes is because a cousin lent me hers. If money is an issue I'd try to put requests out there on parenting board maybe?search ebay. thrift stores? You're lucky its Fall/winter- I think more options - if you find something that fits- buy it in every color and wear with a few different sweaters. But I am not too trendy, i'm not sure. I love my handme downs lane bryant but I dont think they have maternity anymore- maybe on ebay?

i cant seem to find big plus sized maternity. just maternity in an xxl... not big enough unfortunately.

Have you looked into old navy online in their maternity section, they carry large sizes and everything runs big.

Try Empire waisted clothing in plus size (not maternity)
Old Navy has maternity pants/jeans and shirts that are pretty long.
I also wear dresses when I feel lazy. I have like 3 or 4 black dresses, one of which is empire waist and not from a maternity store.
I can pretty much get away with wearing just maternity pants and regular tops.
Also, I got nice bras from Nordstrom.

ETA: I cant stress this enough: You dont have to buy maternity for tops or dresses!

Avenue has now plus sized maternity but only online, you can use all coupons too etc sales also!! Also onestopplus.com has a plus size maternity section in all sizes. I went to sears too, the one in Hicksville had more of an selection than others

For bras try olgas in Hicksville on broadway, she measures you and they have all sizes $$$ but it will last!!!

JC Penney, Avenue and Old Navy have plus size maternity online. I got lots from JCP when I was pregnant but the others weren't available then.

I am in the same boat as you, but about 5'3".
I am shopping at Motherhood outlets in their plus size section. I have had some luck there. But Avenue has some maternity clothes online and I have checked out OneStopPlus.com for dresses. I found that Torrid's line of maternity wear is very fitted. I am still having some luck with Old Navy maternity. I shop at the Bay Shore location :) or from online.

the Maternity Store in Tanger Riverhead has a few racks of plus sized maternity and it's decent stuff at a decent price. Check that out if you can

I saw a lot at Destination Maternity - both at the 110 store in Huntington and the one by the Roosevelt Field Mall. Seems that the one by the mall had the most stuff! Have you checked out Destination Maternity's website?

I liked Old Navy best. Motherhood I found to be too short in length but was ok in the first few months. I have some things that you are more than welcome to. Not sure how great shape they are in but might be good for weeknds, etc. All size 3x. Let me know!

I am 5'9" and plus size, pre-preggo size 22. I had good luck with pants and jeans from the Destination Maternity website. I bought a few tops from them but had to return them because I found that they ran very big. I found most of my tops at Kohl's in the plus size section. I looked for empire waisted tops - basically anything that I'd never wear when not pregnant because it would make me look pregnant.
