Plus-sized Mommies--Please help
I'm having the WORST time trying to find nursing bras and nursing nightgowns in my size!
Can someone give me some places to try? I remember hearing that I should pass on the Motherhood nursing bras.

I think that Motherhood will be good for nightgowns. Their sizing is generous, so a large really is large, not like at some stores! I bought nursing sleep bras there and loved them. I never found regular bras that I liked but I had to quit nursing anyway. A lot of people on here recommend the nursing tank tops instead. I think they get them at Target.

The target nursing tank tops are pretty good.......if I am home or just hanging at my Moms or whatever.
I never really found any nursing bras I loved or ones that fit well. I ended up with some from Target and got the bra extenders to make them fit better.
But I think JC Penney looks to have a decent selection in the catalog.

When I was nursing I bought my nursing bras from K-Mart and Wal-Mart, and as far as night gowns I just bought PJ sets that had a button down shirt and pj pants.

For nursing bras I went to Georgette's in Hicksville. I'd recommend going to Georgette's if you are in Nassau, or Blums if you are in Suffolk. Not only does your size change a lot during pregancy but also while nursing --- so it's good to get fitted anyway and both stores carry a LARGE stock of sizes. I was able to get 44DDs that they had IN-stock, no ordering necessary.
As far as nursing nightgowns, I never needed them. My sister, who nursed her daughter for 2 years, also never used them. I'd maybe buy one to try it out, or make a poll to see if people used them  bc it might not be necessary.
Nursing tanks from target wth pj pants are what a lot of people do.

I second Georgette's.... I'm normally a 38DDD or F depending on the bra. When I was nursing, I went to a 42F, and Georgette's was able to fit me properly, and had the bra (a Goddess) in stock and ready to go... it was perfect and not even that much $.... If I remember correctly, it was $28 each bra.

I got nice nightgowns from Kohls that were motherhood with matching robes. Also Burlington has PJs for nursing/maternity.

I got my bras at Motherhood Maternity at the Source Mall and my nightgowns at Sears in Hicksville (decent plus size maternity section)

bras, i se bali nursing bras, from the tanger outlets.
night shirts, i got some great ones at jockey out there a year or two ago where the front is a low cut v neck with a few snaps that can be opened up. not true nursing pjs, but workes just as well.
