Day Care
Are any of you looking to day cares yet? I didnt realize this part would be soooo difficult! DH and I are having ahard time choosing one. PLUS we didnt realize it was soooo expensive  ! I wish we had more family here to help us watch our kid!

I knew daycare would be only option so I was looking into it while TTC and finally chose one a few weeks after BFP. We waited until our 12 week sono to give our deposit of the game etc.. and the director tells us there was only 3 more spots for infants at the timeframe we were looking at..  I couldn't believe it!!! So yea, start now, and seriously it friggin expensive.. its another mortgage payment!

I thought i had it figured out but now i realize my planned sitter may not b able to do it. Plus tho i trust her, i dont trust the kids she watches now they may b too aggressive for an infant.
So my options are to either work part time and have fam watch him 2 days a week while dh gets him on his one day off or to just be a sahm.
We're weighing our options. Financially it may not make sense to work and fear for dc safety may keep me home longer.

Seriously! For what we'll be paying in day care, I can buy a brand new car...or put a down payment on a new house! Its incredible! I started looking when I was 4 weeks preggers and everyone thought I was nuts. Now...our only option is to get on these waiting lists! Urgh its so stressful!

wow, i knew you had to look early but I'm due in April too and can't believe you're on waiting lists already!
I really am hoping inlaws can watch them since they are retired but they are out of the country half the year and don't know if they will be leaving next year.  I hate not knowing and I wish we could afford me staying home at least for the first year
