should i keep testing opk

I usually get my smiley on day 17-18. On cd12 the test got a error and I figured I had a few days and I waited until the next morning and got a smiley. I was concerned it was a false reading and I tested again late last night and this morning and it was negative. Should I or keep testing? The thing is I have to take progesterone in my 2ww. So, I don't want to take it if I am really not in my 2ww.

if you are on progesterone shouldnt your doctor be monitoring your ovulation so that you know when to start progesterone? taking it too early could def cause anovulation or other issues so i cant imagine a doctor just telling you to start taking it when you "think" you ovulated, without being sure. that just seems irresponsible of the doctor IMO.

Well usually I take a blood test to make sure. But, the last time I just took it two days after I got my :) and she said that was fine. I guess since I am not sure I should go to see if I did. Even if I did I am going to most likely miss the window to take it this cycle.

ideally you would take progesterone for the entire 2ww to 12w (or so) of pregnancy. so theres no way you would miss the window to take it if you need it.
