Researching FET
Has any of you ladies done or currently in the process of doing a FET? If so was it natural or were you on estrogen and progesterone? How soon after AF did you begin estrogen? Any other information that would be helpful is graciously appreciated....

Re: Researching FET
I started estrogen on CD 5 this time (I was OOT until then), but CD 3 for my first FET. Both cycles I got pregnant. The first cycle I transferred 2 and both embies took (one split twice resulting in triplets but they became blighted ovums), I had my DS from that cycle. I did another FET last month and got a BFP, but this pregnancy isn't viable

Re: Researching FET
Sorry for your lost I am beginning to plan and prepare for my FET even though my beta is tomorrow from my fresh cycle transfer (already know this cycle did not work), so I am just trying to get information from women that experienced a FET. I really want a natural transfer but unsure if my RE would go for a natural one.

I wanted a natural transfer also because I'm still BFing my DS, and my RE convinced me to do the medicated cycle because of convenience. The natural cycles you have to go in pretty much every day for monitoring after the first week or so, and that would be extremely difficult in my situation. My RE did say that with the way they freeze the embryos now, the frozen cycles are just as good as the fresh.
The frozen cycle is SO much easier than the fresh. I had estrogen patches on and monitoring I think about once a week up until the transfer. It was great! It's a much shorter cycle too, I think my transfer was on CD17, which is a huge plus.
Good luck!!!
ETA: Sorry your fresh cycle didn't work. Praying for a great outcome for your FET

Re: Researching FET
I did what is called a natural FET when I did my FET. You have to ovulate on your own though and make a good lining on your own. It was VERY easy. Try to do a natural FET if you can..less meds and quick!! There was no prep cycle. I just started being monitored when my period started and when it looked like I was going to ovulate and my LH was rising they gave me a trigger shot and I implanted my 5 day embies at the appropriate time. The only meds were the trigger shot and progesterone and estrogen in the 2ww. GL.

Re: Researching FET
I did an FET and was on a ton of estrogen and progesterone .. No BFP, unfortunately- but that was due to lining issues.

Re: Researching FET
I am on my 1st (and hopefully only) FET now. I started Estrace on CD3, and will start increasing the dose Wed. I will also be using suppositories and alternating with PIO ( ).

Re: Researching FET
Just did a FET, my fresh cycle was a success.
Was on Estrace and PIO- it was sooo much easier then the fresh cycle, only went to the RE once a week. Unfortunately, my FET was a early checmical pregnancy, seems the embryos did not come out of the thaw at the same quality that they went in.
Starting a fresh cycle next month.
Good luck!
