chimney cleaning
We really need to get our chimney swept before we use our fireplace but all we hear is how the chimney companies always try to scam you into getting repairs you don't need.
Can anyone recommend a chimney cleaning company? We're in southwest Suffolk.

ETS: I just did a search on here and found a few recommendations.
Chief Chimeny and Best Way Chimney.
I will be calling them today.

I had an awful awful awful experience with Chief Chimney. FM if you want to know more but i strongly suggest passing on them.

We used all island pro recently, we did have to replace the cement that was holding the chimney cap in, but it wasn't a scam...

Captain Soot! They're great. My mom has used them for years, and they haven't tried to talk us into anything.

Wow - I'm surprised to hear that because we've used them a couple of times and they always have done a great job for us even fixing something extra at no additional charge. Based on our experiences I would recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
