Bringing family to Ultrascreen
I have my Ultrascreen on Tuesday. We are going to tell Emma that morning that mommy is having a baby and we are going to bring her to the sonogram. I also want to take Jeremy and My mom... plus my DH. I think the room is big enough for the tech, me, DH, 2 kids (being held) and my mom... think they will let us all in to see??
ETA: My mom hasn't seen an actual sono from either of the other 2 kids... I want her to see what it's like.

When I was pregnant I had me, my DH, my mom and my MIL-it was a tiny room but the tech didn't mind-maybe call ahead and ask?

Re: Bringing family to Ultrascreen
I brought my mom because she had never had one on herself for her 2 kids either. It was myself, my mom and DH. Mom cried like a baby........it was very special! I think they will be ok with the amount of people....just cram them in the corner LOL

Re: Bringing family to Ultrascreen
I've brought my family before- but my doctor is really cool! Maybe you should call and ask just in case- but I bet they will let you! :)

Re: Bringing family to Ultrascreen
I would ask. I have seen signs at my dr's office and at the Madonna Perinatal that did my amnio and will be doing my level 2 sonogram about not allowing children or too many people in the room for infection control.
My mom is an RN so she came in to hear the heartbeat @ 12 weeks and if she is off she will come this week with me and DH too.

Re: Bringing family to Ultrascreen
how does it work if you bring people? I just made my appt and she said we have to meet with a genetic counselor first...do you have your family meet you an hour into the appt?
