buttercream question
I am going to try a buttercream recipe that was posted on here to make cupcakes for my sons party. Should I frost them the night before, or that day? The thread I was reading was talking about it crusting over...do I want it to do that? Thanks!

Re: buttercream question
I don't mind when it does that. My buttercream has never been hard by any means or lost any of that delicious whipped texture. I usually frost them right away and just store in the fridge over night.

Re: buttercream question
I made cupcakes this week. Frosted them the night before & there was no crusting over. I do keep them covered in the fridge.
