RSOFNY
I'm going tomorrow
I had all my info from my gyno sent over to them. I will be meeting with Maria Saketos.
Don't get me wrong I love my gyno I just feel that they don't want to do all the testing. I'm 36. I would like to know if I have other issues ASAP.
Am I wrong? Should I take it slow with the testing?
I did tell mr fh that he might need to go to have his swimmers checked. I was so scared that he was going to be upset about this. I was shocked at what he said
"WELL THE GOOD THINK IS I WONT BE THERE THAT LONG BABE CAUSE YOU KNOW HOW FAST I AM"
i love my husband

Re: RSOFNY
That is great that you are seeking an RE...I go to RSOFNY too...I took clomid with my gyn for 2 months w/o monitoring which I shouldnt have IMO...I did get an HSG & DH had SA so it wasnt a complete waste... I wish I had seen an RE immediately... I think testing for everything upfront will hopefully make clear what issues you potentially have or not have and a treatment plan can be developed...Good luck!!!

Re: RSOFNY
Definitely go for it!! I've met with Dr. Saketos before (I usually see Dr. Sung). The staff there is so nice!! It's definitely worth a shot to get everything checked out.

Re: RSOFNY
I think its a good thing. I wish I had decided to got to an RE earlier.
They will start with HSG and SA and then go from there on blood work. Most RE's wont over test as they beleive too much testing is not good either.

Re: RSOFNY
I also just decided to see an RE. I love my OB but I also felt like he wasn't doing enough. I think we know our bodies better than any doctor and if going to see an RE is something that you feel is right then you should go. I don't want to look back on this journey and regret not going sooner just bc my OB didnt think it was necessary yet.
Good Luck!!

I think you are doing the right thing. You should do what you want and what will put you at ease.
And at DH.

Re: RSOFNY
I love rsofny, my dd is a success story of there and I am currently pg with number 2 because of their help. I wouldn't take testing slow, I would get it all done with and out the way this way if there is a problem they can begin to address it. Good luck, I've found almost all the drs at rsofny to be wonderful and their nursing staff is the best.
