Where is Wantagh Woods?
What part of Wantagh is Wantagh Woods? Is it north of Sunrise Highway where Hemingway's and Mulcahy's are?

I would say it is north of Park Ave. , south of Jerusalem, East of Wantagh Ave.

This is how most people (and realtors) in Wantagh define the areas:
Wantagh Woods: east of Wantagh Ave, between Sunrise & Jerusalem
Sunrise Park: east of Wantagh Ave, between Sunrise & Merrick Rd
Mandalay: everything south of Merrick Rd
Forest Lake: west of Wantagh Ave between Sunrise & Jerusalem
I'm blanking on the name of the area west of Wantagh Ave between Sunrise & Merrick Rd

Agree with the previous posters -- Wantagh Woods is south of Jerusalem, north of Sunrise, east of Wantagh Ave.
Let me know if you have specific questions. My office is in N. Bellmore, so I see/show a lot of homes in Wantagh. And my sister lives in Wantagh Woods, right by the Wantagh elementary school. Many people consider Wantagh Woods to be one of the most (or the most) desirable area of Wantagh.
The previous poster named a lot of neighborhoods in Wantagh... there's also other areas known as Holiday Park, Twin Lakes, Brookside Estates.

Dh grew up in wantagh and his grandparents live in Wantagh Woods (have for 40+ years) ... if you have any questions about the area, I would be glad to help if I can  I also grew up in Seaford, about 1/2 mile away from there
