Re: fertility monitor...
I also bought the CBEFM and just started using it...my RE said that the CBE digital OPK was "better" but both were good...I also have the opk's which I will use as well to pinpoint ovulation.
I hope it works too!!!

Re: fertility monitor...
I don't know what the difference is...
I just OPK's. And why did the RE say the OPK's are "better"?

Re: fertility monitor...
I may be in the minority on this on this board, but I prefer the CBE Opk's. I also bought the monitor and have been using it for 4 months now. Last month I got high for 10 days and never got peak. This month, I decided to add opk's to the CBEFM and got a positive OPK on day 16 (at night) but am still on high on my CBEFM and no peak again. My cycles are not regular so I don't know if this is affecting it or not. I hope you get better results. I conceived #1 using OPK on the first time trying. This time, I'm on month 9.

My RE said he believes is more accurate to pinpoint ovulation and thats what he recommends to his patients...I am using both so we shall see.

Re: fertility monitor...
honestly its not that much different than OPKs. if you have regular cycles then it will work fine and probably give you an extra day or two to BD. if you have PCOS or erratic cycles its a crapshoot whether or not it will give accurate readings. they both run primarily on LH so if your LH is out of whack then neither will function properly.

I have PCOS as well but my LH is not elevated so OPK's work for me. Is your LH elevated?
