Hi! And Coming off BC Question...
Hello ladies! I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. Some of you may know me from LIW, my name is Allegra. DH and I have been married since June of 09. We are planning on starting TTC this coming summer. I just went off BC for the first time in 8 years last month. I was on regular yasmin, aka Ocella. Today is CD27, basically I'm supposed to get my period on Thursday. Today I got MEGA MEGA MEGA queasy and puked at work. I had eaten breakfast, it wasn't from not eating (which makes me puke), and I'm pretty sure it wasn't from what I ate (an apple and a glass of almond milk). I've felt queasy all day since. Has anyone experienced this right before their first period coming off BC? Is this possibly related? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I came off BC at the end of August and Dh & I "tried" last month and i felt nauseous as heck! Never puked, but felt gross for a good week. I definitely think it had to do with coming off of the BC.

I don't remember how I felt when I came off BC pills - but I am sure this is totally normal. Your body is adjusting to the lack of hormones.

HIII!!! Miss you!!! Thanks for writing back. I was really starting to bug a little! Especially bc people at work are like, are you preggo?? And honestly there is always some kind of minute chance, but we are not trying and are preventing so it would have to be a really huge weird coincidental accident! And I don't think I would be queasy this early lol. Stupid bc messed me up good! So far I had NO issues coming off of it. In fact, I used to get really sick FROM bc! If I took it on an empty stomach it made me really queasy.

wasnt on BCP for years but ive never seen anyone else mention this as a side effect from coming off... id probably take a HPT.... good luck!!!

Noooooo!!! hahaha JK. You know what a planner I am Ang!! I'm not trying now!!!!! But of course I would be thrilled. I would just need to get my butt in gear and get my house together! That's what we're really doing now. Getting our house finished with construction, getting my teeth finished, other health issues taken care of. Hoping to start next June/July!

Hi! I remember ya, although ppl prob don't remember me, as I wasn't a super active poster (BlusEyes). And i'm just a lurker here, for now.
We're going to TTC in the summer as well  i wasn't planning on coming off BC pill til March though...should it be more than 3 cycles before TTC?

I didn't get nauseas when I came off BC (was on for almost 14 years) but did feel weird pains in the days before I was getting my period. Thank goodness I was completely normal (cycle was 28 days) as soon as I got off. Good luck and I hope it gets better!
