I hate to complain..but...
I REALLY FEEL AWFUL!!!
Please tell me the 2nd trimester gets easier..i'm exhausted and nauseous....i have constant nausea now..i never actually get sick..but am always nauseous. Plus, all i eat are carbs so i'm gaining weight like crazy and i feel bad that i'm not eating any veggies, but the thought of them just grosses me out.
I was never nauseous with DS no. 1., so wasn't expecting this.
Vent over....can't wait until 1st trimester is OVER!!! This is not fun.

I just entered the second trimester and I do feel better. But you sound exactly like me in the first trimester, down to the all carb diet.  I am normally a healthy eater too but it was to the point I was picking out veggies in my soups etc. ugh, it sucks
it'll get better

Im totally in the same boat but, cant seem to find things to eat that work. 1 minute Im fine the next I just want to  . I have been trying the sea band braclet and sour patch kids and they work here and there for me. Next step is B6.
My thing is a pray it doesnt get as bad as it did with my DS, I couldnt move for weeks on end with him. This time around is bad but, I deal with it9 along with a little whinning,lol) and pray it doesnt get any worse.
But from what I remember after the 1st tri it got better.

It gets better, it does. My first trimester was terrrible absolutely terrible i lost 10 lbs cause of my lack of appetite and nausea. Im now 21 weeks and feel really good. So happy to be able to eat again. Im tired but thats cause i have to chase after my 22 month old dd. It gets better trust me.

I'll be in my second trimester next week and I'm hoping for the same! Hang in there, 2nd trimester will be here before you know it!

This could describe me exactly! I'll be 12 weeks on wed& it might comfort u to know that my nausea let up this past week. I also got some of my energy back & cleaned the house like a champ yesterday lol! I'm having a hard time with how much weight I gained as a result of exactly what u described...... I look like I'm 6mos preg! I was a runner & in good shape pre-preg. The way I look at it is it's all worth it to have a healthy baby & once I do have the baby I will work hard to lose the weight. It's just a big blow to my self-esteem to look in the mirror & look/feel so gross when that's not the way it was before. I guess it just comes with the territory & is all worth it in the end.

It's like one day i just woke up and felt alive again...dramatic i know...but thats how i felt, I had so much energy!! Better days are ahead!!

It does get better! I was sick with both my pregnancys, but this one I was extremely sick. It took awhile to feel better, but by about 15 weeks I was okay. I'm just about 18 weeks and I still do have some naseous days, but nothing like first trimester. With my DS, I was totally fine by 15 weeks.

Def gets better! I just started my 2nd tri and thought people were joking when they said that it's like an overnight thing that you just wake up feeling better - but for me, this was the case too! Hang in there!!
