Re: hanks or the milk pail for apple
I just went to Hanks today and they really dont have anything left. Mostly beat up apples on the ground. I think I read the Milk Pail has much more. I would call them. But def dont count Hanks for apples at this point.

I went yesterday to Lower 7 Ponds Orchard in Water Mill (off of lower 7 ponds road)
They still had a lot of apples left -- tons of jonagolds (one of my favs) and tons of other varietys.
The honey crsip are almost all gone - really have to hunt -- but macentosh, gala, red delish, jonagold..... are plentiful

Re: hanks or the milk pail for apple
Milk Pail was really expensive I thought when I paid 35.00 for a small bag my niece picked!
I would check Lower 7 Ponds...

Re: hanks or the milk pail for apple
We went to the Milk Pail about 3 weeks ago and they had a ton. There was a post on another board that someone wengt this week and they still had a lot. You pay $32 for a bag which is half a bushel, but it was worth it. We had a blast and I went with my sister and nieces so we split the cost and the apples. I would def try there.

Milk Pail. We go here every year. They have tons of apples. Check their website to see what varieties they currently have. It's $32 for half a bushel (20 pounds).
