21st birthday...is this enough??
So my parents decided that they wanted to throw my brother a surprise 21st birthday at a neighborhhod bar. THe thing is they ddnt care so much about the options and how much food the place was giving.
Let me know if you think whats enough
What is included is
Chicken Francaise
ROast Beef
Baked Ziti
Potato and veget
Salad
my parent didnt think that was enough for 50 people
We also decided we were going to do chips on the table since its at a bar
Still wasnt enough for them
We convinced the guy to throw in Mozzarella sticks and chicken finger as apps
Still they didnt think that was enough
Parent now went to a place and ordered mini rice balls and pigs in a blanket for apps and Eggplant rollantine for the dinner
But still my mom wants to my sweet and sour turkey meatballs bc she doesnt feel that
chicken francaise
roast beef
eggplant rollantine
baked ziti
potato and veget
Salad
is enough.......What do you think??? I told them stop alread ywith the food....People arent there for a sit down dinner as it is in a bar even tho it is a nice bar

yeah if anything, you have too much real food and not enough pub fare!
ETA: just to clarify, I mean if I went to a 21st birthday at a bar, I wouldn't expect a real meal at all. Just drinks and for food I'd be hoping for wings, chips and dip, nachos, peanuts, etc.

That's more than enough!! If I went to a bar for a 21st bday I definitely wouldn't be eating too much.

ITA. I think the original menu plus chips on the table is fine! Not sure of your crowd but I know when I go to a bar, I like a little something. Don't like to kill my buzz with too much food lol!

I feel the same way...I'd be good with a couple of chicken fingers. More food = less drinks.

it is a much of like half adults and half under 30 year old people.....I think my parents always exept people to want to eat and dnt want them to be like why wasnt food served....the party is 7 to 11
