I know not everyone believes in wives tales..

but if this doesnt turn out to be a girl and ends up being a boy then I am gonna be considered HUGE around here. There is another girl that I work with and we are a week apart. Her belly is so pointy and so forward. Mine is flat and wide (only in front). She knows its a boy. I dont want to know yet.

At 37 weeks I am up around 70 lbs. I honestly stopped looking at the scale.

I never had a tiny "cute" body but I always had a nice curvy figure (hips, butt, boobs).

Even though I have gained so much weight, my belly is still very small compared to most women. Even the doctor said there isn't much room in my abdomen for this child to grow.

So anyway point being, my weight has gone to those other places (hips, boobs, butt).

I don't feel as good as I use to about my body, yet as big as I am I get complimented all the time about how great I look or how cute I look.

I've gotten hit on in Target by a guy who said pregnant women are beautiful and he loved when his wife was pregant.

So...with all that said...forget what other people say. There will always be someone there to put you down and make you feel like crap about yourself.

Forget them all. You have a miracle inside you and when the baby is born then you can take lots of long walks with baby to shed the pounds and get down to being a MILF!!!

Paulette everyone swears by the way I'm carrying its a boy. I'm all front and belly as of my 23rd week.

My level II said . I asked my dr at my last visit "how accurate" the level II results are and he said that IF they told me the sex they are very certain and they haven't been wrong yet.

I guess it's possible that I could be the first time they are wrong, but I tend to believe they know what they are looking at. DOn't listen to what people say...everyone is different!!!

You said that the baby was breech at your Level II. I wonder if it has something to do with that? I now that my is laying across, not up and down, which may be why I am more wide than I am pointy

Well I don't even know if I fit into any of the old wives tales categories.. I sort of have traits of both...

I am having a boy, am practially 100% sure (I mean there was really NO mistaking it at the Level II ) yet everyone still asks "are you sure" because they feel I am "carrying like a girl"

Here is my general look: I am def. not all belly, I gained weight everywhere... I'm very wide and my butt is big Boobs are enormous. My belly was the last thing to grow on me which is why it took so long for me to 'show'. Now its sticking out a lot but not pointy at all, more long and wide.. and I am carrying very high. I have no idea what position the baby is in because I haven't had a sono since my Level 2 (he was not up/down, he was across at that point..)

My face has not changed at all (more typical of the boy than girl.)

I have had tons more salty cravings than sweet (again more typical of boy). I could totally give up all desserts but don't ask me to give up my chips

But who the hell knows what it all means

I had a model "boy" pregnancy - no MS, all belly, carried low, my face didnt change, low heartrate...then out popped Ella

I thought breech was up and down bc boy is this baby kicking me in the bladder! So if the baby was up and down wouldnt ya think the belly would be narrow....NOPE...not mine! LOL

well, you know the old wives tale that if you have severe MS you are having a girl? I was barfing my brains up from 7 weeks to 14 weeks 4 times a day and guess what? We are having a Everyone was so sure that we were having a girl
