We are getting out stoop redone and walk ways and some nice retaining walls put in on either side of my stoop the whole length of the house.

We would like to put in some nice landscaping but we are not sure of plants. Right now I have a hydragea that blooms awesome and hostis (sp) I will prob just keep 2 hostis we have a ton of it and we have a japanese maple we are keeping

What other plants are good? It is also pretty much shade all the time.

I would like things that are green all around and I would like some plants that come back every year. Then I wil do my usually planting of annuals

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
