Can you believe this...!
I can't believe this...but a friend of mine brought to my attention that on Ebay, people actually "auction" off all and any type of "formula checks". I can't believe what people will do to make a buck and also the people who actually bid on them. I mean, one coupon was worth $11 off and the highest bid so far was $8.43... so that leaves you with a savings of $ 2 dollars and change... Come on people, is it really worth it? Am I crazy to think this or what... It almost makes me think that if these companies get wind of this, maybe they will all together stop giving these checks out to people for Savings.
What are your thoughts

*waving hand* I can believe it, when DS was on formula *I* was one of those ebay coupon bidders. I never paid more than $5. for one incl postage (most much less) so $6 off a can of Good Start is a deal for me.
Between the coupons in the mail, coupons from friends, swapping coupons on another board, etc... I almost never paid full price for formula and got many of the small cans free with the $11 dollar coupons.
The formula companies give the checks/coupons not to save you money. They do it more to get you to use their formula once you do the coupons stop. Trust me, my mailbox was filled with Similac coupons because I used Good Start. Once you use that tracked check/coupon with your name on it they start sending smaller denominations and then they stop all together hence why you should trade with other moms....
ok I've rambled on enough!

I agree. I personally wouldn't go through the trouble of saving a dollar or two on ebay and bidding for a similac coupon - i mean a savings of $10 or more - i can understand - but a few stinkin bucks no way. Anyway - i would of never imagined to sell my coupons on ebay - that money wasn't given to me - so why should i get paid for it. JMO.

I coupon swap - and whatever I can't swap I auction off. For some people every dollar counts!
