I am actually happy for once!
Not sure who left on here remembers my struggles back in 2010 so I will refresh for those that don't.
DH and I had our DD, Emerson, in Sept. 2008 via unmedicated IUI. First try, one egg, done! 
In Sept 2009 we went back to the RE to TTC #2 and after a year of Clomid and IUI's we had about 4-5 failed IUI's and 3 miscarriages. It was awful.  We were about to start IVF and found out the week of our consultation that we exhausted all of our IF insurance coverage on the IUI's, we thought that the $10K lifetime limit was meant for the IVF only. The wording was so poor in our documentation. Anyway, that ended things and as of Oct 2010 we were on our own.
I've always had really irregular cycles, I don't always ovulate, and so here we are ANOTHER year later and we're still NOT pregnant with #2.  I literally cannot take it anymore. I will be 37 in March, I've always wanted at least 3 kids, and I'm so disappointed month after month of nothing. It's the worst.
So today I sat down and looked at our options and I'm happy to say that we've decided to head back to the RE in early December for one last shot with a medicated IUI cycle. They have something called Global IUI and it's a fixed, out of pocket cost that includes everything for the whole cycle up until the pregnancy. So it will run us between $800 and $1400 for the whole thing but if we get pregnant it will be SO worth it. And since we have a history they won't waste time fiddling around with my cycle, we're jumping in whole hog right where we left off!!
So with any luck by the new year we might actually FINALLY be pregnant with #2. Wish me LOTS of luck...............I will need it!! This is a ONE shot deal!!!!! ((((fingers crossed))))
