Microdermabrasion
I saw a dermatologist at the end of August for some acne scars on my arm. He gave me a cream which is suppose to lighten them. I've been applying the cream as directed and I'm not happy with the results!!
I'm VERY self-conscious about my scars and dont really wear tanks or short sleevs. Anyway, I have an appointment on Oct. 12th to ask him about microdermabrasion.
If you've had it done, where (location of office)? How much did/does it cost? Is it painful? Can it even be done on an arm? How many treatments did it take before you saw results or became satisfied?
Any and all advice is greatly appraciated.
TIA

Re: Microdermabrasion
I've done it combined with a mini facial at the red door spa in Garden city. i LOVED it......I believe it came to 130 for sixty minutes.

Re: Microdermabrasion
I had it done at American Laser Center - loved it! I did my face, but you can definitely get it done on your arms. The technician was telling me she'd had it done on the backs of her arms because she got exczema-related dry skin and bumps.
I bought a package of 3 sessions, but it was a while ago so I don't remember exactly how much it cost. Saw results immediately. I didn't have scars, so not sure how well it would work for that, but my skin was way smoother and better looking. And it doesn't hurt at all, it just kind of feels like scratching.
