Life after BC
After you stopped taking BC, did you find that your cycle reverted to the way it was before you started BC?
I remember my cycle being short! I'd get AF every 3 weeks, but she'd only be around for 3, 4 days tops! Im wondering if that will be the case now that I'm off of BC - which is confusing me, since this is only month 2, & I'm not really sure when i "should" be Oing or when AF "should" come..

I went off BC about a year ago and since then, I've noticed my cycles are very regular - 28 days and my periods are REALLY short - like 2-3 days tops. I guess I can't complain about that!

I just had my first AF after going off of BC and it was different than I had expected. I remember that before BC, AF would last at least a week, be pretty heavy at times(sorry for tmi  ) and I'd have horrible cramps the first day or so. This first AF off of BC has actually been very similar to how it was when I was on BC. It was light and short with no cramps.  Not that I'm complaining - I definitely prefer the lighter symptoms - I just hope that's normal.

I've was on BC for 14 years.......I have no idea what my cycle used to be like  I just finished my first cycle since being off, and it was light, for about 5 days. If that continues, I'll be very happy

I was on BC for for about 14 years also.
Pre BC - my cycles were so crazy... 30 days, 40, 55 days... never knew when, and bleed for like 8 days with terrible cramps I was on medication for.
Post... I have had 2 periods so far. heavy for 2 days, light/spotting for like 3 more. First cycle was 43 days (expected that to be even longer). Second was 31 days. Hoping that stays.
Also, I didn't really have too many side effects... I noticed more breaking out I guess, and I definitely gained a couple of pounds that won't budge and are making me nuts!

My period went back to the way i had them before....i was on bc for 11 years. I would only get my period every few months b4 and now AF is still only showing up every few months
Normally that would be a good thing but not when ur TTC

I was very inconsistent before I went on the pill........ after 10 years of being on it ... I went off to find I was still just as inconsistent
