Question about hospital affliations

So my OB is affliated with South Nassau, Mercy and Winthrop. The deliver at all three and when you go into labor your hospital would depend on where they are that day.

So here's my question/situation. Out of the three I'm only really comfortable delivering at Winthrop. If they are at one of the other hospitals that day is there any penalty for NOT going where they are? I know obviously they won't be there to deliver the baby but is there any other consequence that I'm not thinking of?

The only thing that I can think of is that your OB may not be able to deliver you. Another thing I would be worried about is making them mad/upset by going against their protocol.
