Please help LP Question
Hi i just started using OPKs...I got a smiley on cd 10 so I assume that I ovulated on the 11th or 12th day of my cycle. My period didnt come until cd 32. Usually my cycle is 28 days but I was stressed and sick this month. Is it possible to have a 21 day lp? Is that too long?

Its possible it may just be a wacky cycle. I think a 21 day LP seems a bit long but doesnt mean it cant be. there is actually a woman on here (I dont remember her screenname) who actually does have a 3 week LP.

I think LP is normally 12-14 days but many women have it a few days later or earlier. I'm not sure about 21 days....are u sure u O'd? A positive OPK doesn't always mean that u did O. Maybe next month try temping also to confirm when u O.

ITA. A 21-day LP would be very strange. It's possible you geared up to O and didn't due to the stress you mentioned.

ITA, you probably didnt O when you think you did. a 21-day LP is pretty unusual.

I've had a a 21 two times since I've been tracking O. 21 usually happens because of stress, change in diet or change in working out out. My average now seems to be 17. Per my dr the average is 14 but a normal lp can range from 12-17.
Stinks though bc I am dpo 14 and should be super excited that af isnt here but no I get to wait for another 3 days. Also per what I've read we get to wait longer for a bfp, something to do with progesteone (mispell) hanging around longer in our bodies.
