Halloween Decor question...
I love Halloween. I go all out decorating and setting up and anxiously wait for Trick-or-Treaters.
This year tho, I won’t be home. I’m taking AJ to Disney.
Do I dress up the house as much or go low key?
WWYD?

A fully decorated house = lots of Trick-or-Treat candy on Halloween.
Since you won't be there, I would go low-key.

I agree. If you are leaving right before, maybe put up what you want, but take down most or all before you leave, so kids won't come a knockin?
And you probably know this, but don't leave pumkins outside while you are gone. Kids will smash or animals will eat.
You can leave whole ones inside, but not carved ones.

Re: Halloween Decor question...
Wow.. we left our pumpkins out all last year and never bothered to bring them in if we were out and about etc. They never touched them. Our whole street has pumpkins and stuff. Never thought of that.
Hrm.. I think I’ll keep the lights off and just do pumpkins and stickers on the window.
We really didn't go that overboard last year (too new to the house and money was tight)

Re: Halloween Decor question...
I figure no lights on, no wrap on the wall, no cotton in the tree. Probably keep our electronic pumpkins inside…
Use our Beware sign up front, our happy Halloween sign, the arrow sign for the asylum, decorate the tree, put the little guys up front again and stickers on our door window..
Too much?
