Re: My first BFN
Do you know how many DPO you are? Maybe it's too early to show on a test?

Re: My first BFN
Awww that's how I felt last month. I kept getting crampy and everything and got my hopes up. But now that I finally got my first AF since going off BCP, I can start to really figure things out.

Those BFNs can be very depressing.

Re: My first BFN
Thanks for the support ladies! This first cycle off of bcp is so confusing. If I was still on the pill AF would have come last night since the pill kept me super regular. Now I'm sitting here this morning and still no AF. I was very irregular before going on bcp and I'm scared my body will go back to that. I also have no idea when I ovulated. Next cycle I think I will try ovulation sticks. It's so frustrating not knowing what is going on in your own body.

Since you are fresh off the pill, do you know for sure that you ovulated?

I don't know...I guess I should have been using an ovulation predictor kit or temping or something. I thought that by taking it easy and not getting too technical at first with ttc would help to keep me relaxed, but I guess that backfired because now I'm confused and stressed not knowing when I should expect AF and if I even ovulated at all.

Re: My first BFN ~update~
Since this is your first cycle of BCP, it's very possible that your body is still regulating itself. It can take up to 6 months for your body to resume a regular cycle. You might have to be patient. Your symptoms could definitely be pregnancy symptoms, but unfortunately pregnancy symptoms often mimic PMS symptoms, so it's very hard to tell them apart. I would wait a week and test again if AF doesn't show.

Re: My first BFN ~update~
You were regular on the BCP because of the pill....it made you regular. Coming off the pill it can take months for your body to regulate. You could end up having very long cycles (many here have).
Sore boops is a sign of AF too so dont read too much into it.

Re: My first BFN ~update~
i might test again, but something to keep in mind is that very often people are late their first month off the pill. I was 14 days late! And I know that has happened to a lot of other girls on here. After i was late, my cycles were longer too..i had a 38-40 day cycle. Before BCP's it was always around 29-32 days. Good luck!!!

Re: My first BFN ~update~
I'm in the same predicament as you!
Got a few BFN and AF hasn't arrived yet tho it should be due Tuesday. I am pretty regular though so this is odd to me.
I have heard that it take a few days after AF is due to get results so if you can handle seeing the BFN then go ahead and test every other morning!
