Advice regarding how often

I finally talked to an RE yesterday to get some advice. She said the man should be ejaculating every 2-5 days. I thought this was intersecting because I noticed on message boards that half of the pregnant women got pregnant from having sex everyday and ofcourse swear by it, whereas others swear by only having sex once or twice while ovulating. I am open for trying anything, but I will follow what my dr. said. I tried everyday for a week and a half last month and it didn't work. What were you all told by your doctor?

I have heard every other day works starting around CD 8....and I have heard every day is the way to go....so who knows??? Last month we did every day from CD 8 through CD 19 and no BFP...and this month we did "Deanna's Plan"...every other day from CD 8....when get positive OPK 3 days in a row...skip a day and one more time to be sure.

the month I got my BFP we boned three days in a row (morning, night, night). (It was the 2 peak days & high day after on my CBEFM). We hadn't really been boning the days leading up to those three days bc I was sick. GL!

I think when I got PG the first time, we followed Deanna's plan. But I would say that since really the only time you can get PG is around O, it would be wise to focus your energy on during that time.

We were DTD every other day, then my doctor told me to count 10 days after my period and do it every day for 7 days. She said the whole thing about doing it every other day so the guy can build up his sperm is a myth since it only takes one.

i think every other day during the week that you O is a good way to cover all bases.
