prenatal vitamins?
I just made an appt with my gyn to discuss ttc. last visit she told me when i was ready i should see her to get a prescription for prenatal vitamins instead of otc vitamins. has anyone else heard about this? im going to keep the appt regardless just wondering if the prescription is really necessary.
DH and i dont plan on officially ttc until after the dr appt (which is in November) but im excited for the next step in our life and wanted to say hi :)

my dr told me to start taking them a few months before TTC and that OTC ones were just fine!

mine too.. she said OTC is fine during TTC and during pregnancy as well.. good luck!

I have a prescription because it winds up cheaper for me, but my dr. said OTC is fine as well :)

my Dr said that Target over the counter ones I was taking were fine -- have also used the CVS brand -- I like the ones that have 2 pills -- one is just DHA

otc ones r fine..my doc gave me a scrip for one and my ins didnt cover it so we take otc
