the fireplace in our levitt style home is closed off in the kitchen but still open on the other side. right now we have a table in the kitchen against that wall. we were thinking of putting in a peninsula coming out from the wall with some cabinets under it to provide more storage.

has anyone done this or have pictures of it in a levitt house? im not sure if it's even possible because of the fireplace, but we definitely want to look into it.
