Thats so funny that you mention that, I had a pizza today (here in the UK at Pizza Express) and it had Speck on it, you can get it here pretty regularly.
I love Trader Joe's Chile Spiced Dried Mango. OMG. Yum.

They have Speck in Costco now too (or at least they do in the one by me!).
I discovered that Costco also carries Chorizo now.. and it's fairly decent! Saves me a trip to that little Portugese deli every time I need some!!

Nope - it comes in a plastic covered black plastic container and is refrigerated. It's more of a soft fresh sausage than the hard, dried stuff. It's an American brand (Quijote) so it doesn't have as much of that complex sweet / smokey flavor as the stuff from Spain or Portugal.. but it's still nice and it actually fits the palates of many of my friends better.

Re: What have you "discovered" lately?
Letting my kids make ice cream in a bag. It was in a parenting mag a few months ago and I may have even seen a link for it here. And I finally tried it and it was fun and easy!
And today PW mentioned it.
Here's a link on Tasty Kitchen
