Need help, what could this have been? Warning TMI

So I was due to get my period on 8/26. It never came so I thought maybe I was pregnant, but the pregnancy test was negative. About a week later I was have a little spotting, that lasted about a week, then yesterday I thought I had my period and I kept getting big blood clots, big things of tissue about the size of a quarter, then this morning, no blood, nothing, so it couldn't have been my period. Did I have a miscarriage or chemical? I never got a positive pregnancy test but I've never had anything like this happen to me either with the clots and and stuff. Any advice? Do I need to even see my doctor if it was or just continue trying? Thank you!

Did you take another pregnancy test recently?

I know I occassionally had a period where I would have clots come out and I was never pregnant before my DS.

i would just chalk it up to a wacky cycle..i have def had months where i had those clots

if it happened again then i would call the doc have u tested since?

thats not really consistent with a chemical. there really arent much clots to bleed out with a chemical since there is virtually nothing past a tiny embryo in there. prob just a weird cycle, i wouldnt worry about it.

Since you took a preg test and it came up negative, I'd just say it was a wonky cycle.
