bakery in smithtown
I'm new to the area and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good bakery in the Smithtown area?
(Hauppauge or Commack too - we're close to all those areas.)

Prestano's in Nesconet (and Ronkonkoma)
Alpine in Smithtown is pretty good (Uncle Giuseppe's shopping center on 111)

Alpine as posted above is good and has a big selection of all of your basic stuff. They also make beautiful custom cakes.
Torta Fina on Motor Parkway (in the Bonwit shopping center) makes GORGEOUS cakes and great pastries but they are on the pricier side - great for special occasions but too much for every day.
I went to the Bakery (on Jericho in Northgate) when they first opened and hated it - havent been back since.
Believe it or not, the bakeries in King Kullen and Shoprite by Costco are pretty good too if you just need something quick.
