?'s after my bloodwork results this morning
I have a vitamin D deficiency. so my dr advised me to starting taking some vitamin d pills. No problem
He also said that the only thing keeping me from getting pregnant is my weight, and that my PCOS has subsided. My LH & FSH levels are 5.1, and Prolactin is 6.8. He put me on Provera for this month, and I go back every 2 months to get a script for it if I don't get AF naturally next month.
Can anyone decipher this for me? I understand it's impossible to be cured of PCOS, but I'm confused as to why he's telling me it has subsided.
Also, what should I expect while taking Provera? And ladies who are on it, how soon after can you BD and are you able to determine when you O after one month, or does it take a few cycles to get familiar with it?
Sorry for all the questions ladies!

well i took provera to induce AF, i took 10 mg for 10 days, it came like the 8th or 9th day I was on it but usually it could come a week after the last pill. As far as Oing, I did not O afterwards on my own after being on the provera but everyone is different... good luck!

I also took provera 10mg for 10 days. My period came 2 days after finishing the provera. Then i ovulated on day 12 and 13 of the next cycle (but i was also on clomid so that helped). I would guess that your doctor saying your PCOS has subsided means maybe your hormones levels are much better than the first time they checked them...I feel like whenever i talk to the MD i forget all my questions, my best friend gave me good advice though...she said whenever they say something (whether its test results or comments like "it looks like your PCOS has subsided") just follow it up with "ok so what does that mean?" lol it helps at least to give me more time to remember my questions and process what they are telling me....good luck!
