Garbage pick-up Town of Hemp.
I am so confused...Garbage is picked up on Monday with recycle, Wednesday for shrubs, and Thursday and the sheet said for Labor Day it will be picked up Tues instead. Tuesday came they didnt pick up recycle and today they didnt pick up the shrubs...did I miss the memo? Newbie here

i can never keep up. we either just put it all out and they pick up what they pick up, or we look to see what the neighbors put out.

Yeah, I can't keep up with it either. Where I live, the trash is picked up on Tuesday, but if it is a holiday on a Monday, they pick up on Wednesday . Don't make sense to me.

On a holiday week in the town of Hempstead it is only the trash pickup day that gets changed. If your recycle pickup was the holiday day, then there is no recycle pickup that week. Also, there is no mulch pickup on Wednesdays in weeks with a Monday holiday. It can be a little confusing.

just what i was going to say...
on holiday weeks, the recycle guys don't come that week, neither do the shrub/green guys.
Always gets us confused too!

We have pickup of some sort every day!
In my town....
Mon - Yard Waste
Tue - Garbage & Recycling
Wed - large stuff / cardboard boxes
Thu - Newspaper
Fri - Garbage
My dh puts the trash out ad has a hard time keeping track and asks me almost daily.
