1st visit and 6wk sono w/ pic
so i had my 1st visit yeasterday withmy new dr, i switched drs from the one i had with DD, wasnt to happy with her after i gave birth and she's in lynbrook too far from me...
i saw dr thanus at bethpage OBGYN, loved him!! so kind and gentle!! the visit took a little longer, then checked my urine, BP and weight, then waited to to speak to him for the 1st time, then went back into the exam room for a pap, pelvic and breast exam, then waited for the sono room to be free, had a internal and external sono, at first she couldnt find anything other than a sac but finally she found a little fetal pole but it did already have a heartbeat we saw it flickering on the screen 
she said i measuring more like 5wk4days ratheer then the 6wk 1 day going from LMP but i do know that i O'd late that month. so i go back in 2 weeks for another sono!! so excited!!

How exciting! And it is always good to hear about kind OBGYNs! I switched this time also, not practices, but to a different dr in the practice because I found him to be more thorough and understanding. I am very glad that I made the change!
We must live close to eachother! I am in Levittown!

Congratulations that's great! I am going for my first sono next week at 6 weeks and I'm nervous about it. It's great to know they saw the fetal pole!
