Just a Vent
I wish DH was as ready as I am to have a baby. We don't use any form of BC so thats a plus, however I don't test to see when I O either. What reallyyyy annoys me is that 99.9% of the time DH and I BD, he "pulls out" TMI, sorry! It's just frustrating!

The worst thing you can do is try to get your dh to have a baby when he's just not ready. It took a good year to know that my dh was on the same page as me. You can't force the issue or he could end up resenting you/future baby.  You dont want that. If I were you, I'd try to talk to dh to find out exactly why he feels the way he does. It can give you more insight and understanding from his perspective.

My husband was like that for a good year, while I was ready to ttc. Only the last few months has he been as excited and ready as I am....and I didn't force the issue and he came around on his own. Timing is everything...he will come around!! P.S....DH just said as he was walking up the stairs complaining about going back to work tomorrow (he is a teacher)..."Why can't I have another day off....why can't god give us a baby"...he was joking around of course...but those little comments I find to be so cute!!

We aren't using any form of BC, but DH isn't ready to full out TRY yet. He's just like, if it happens it happens. Then, I think he gets nervous and pulls out!

It took a few months before DH was fully ready to try. We always said we'd wait until our 1 yr wedding anniversary, but something changed his mind last Christmas when he said he wanted to start trying in January instead. I'm glad we did, because it's been 9 months and still waiting for my BFP.
