Looking for summer vacation spot in the NE
We have timeshare with Interval International and are looking to book something for @12pp next summer. We want to go North to Mass, NH, RI, VT or Maine. A lot of the places I see seem very "winter" themed with plenty of things to do in the snow. Can you recommend an area that is good for a summer vacation? Our family is into sightseeing, shopping and parks. Not so much into golf, beaches or fishing.
Thanks!

Anywhere in RI will be good in the summer time. As for New Hampshire, my friend has a house on Lake Sunappee and it's a great area for a summer vacation.

Only bc I know your IL's own westgate as well, take a look at the one in tennessee. I know its not NE but they have an amazing looking waterpark. We were considering. For NE what about Boston?

I think we are going to go to TN in 2 years with the IL's. That one DOES look nice!!
Next year, we are looking to go North with my family. Boston is a possibility!

Re: Looking for summer vacation spot in the NE
In RI there are tons of beaches, lots of walking and exploring to do in Newport and Providence and there are small amusement parks as well- there's a small boardwalk in Westerly. As for New Hampshire, I'm not overly familiar with the area, because we usually stay mostly at the house and go on their boat. But I know there are some small towns, you can rent boats, nice hiking, and good fishing.

How about Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard in MA? There are also plenty of places in Maine like Kennebunkport or Ogunquit or even Nantucket in RI.

Newport is beutiful. There are the tours of the old mansions, there is good restaurants and some cute bars, there are usually different weekends with sail boat races and seafood festivals.
