has anyone taken chlomid before????
I went to the drs and they gave me provera to bring on my period and then i have to take clomid......
how effective is it??? will it work right away??

i have taken both provera and clomid
it works great for soe and not for others
we did 5 rounds on it and i did not respond to it at all..will it work right away you will see when u go in for monitoring to see if u ave developed any follies

Clomid works great for others and not so great for some. Also clomid is a drug they increase the mg to increase the effectiveness. So if 50mg doesn't work than they put you on a 100 and so on. With dd I was on clomid and it took 3 months and 150 mg for me to get a large enough follie to conceive her. This time around I am on 200 mg and its not working so its really just varies.

It worked right away for me with DD - only one round. This time, its taking a little bit longer...just depends, like everyone else said, it's different for everyone. Good Luck!

this was my first month on it, but they put me on 100mg right away, not sure why... needless to say i responded a bit TOO well.. good luck!!

I also responded TOO well to the Clomid so they needed to lower the dosage. After they figured out the dosage I was been responding great.
(By responding two well I mean that I had 8 mature follicles...meaning I could be very high risk for multiples. We didn't even BD that month!)

I took 100mg for 2 cycles and had an IUI both times. I worked as far as stimulating and I still Od on my own but did not get PG on it.
