City Mini Adapter
My friend gave me a used one (from her friend), and for some reason we cant get it on right. I'm wondering if it's broken and I should buy a new one...
Did anyone else have any problems putting this on the city mini? Any tips?

Ugh Just realized they were different. I thought it was the same adapter for both. My friend gave me the one for the Chicco and we have the Graco.
Guess I'm just going to buy the Snap and Go..

Guess I'm just going to buy the Snap and Go..

IMO get another adapter. the snap and go is $30 more than the adapter. but if you really love the city mini like we do, you dont need a snap and go also. the city mini is SO light and easy to carry around that for us at least we returned the snap and go we got. after a month we had only used the city mini so it wasnt worth keeping the snap and go.
the only thing i found the adapter breaks somewhat easily. we are on our second one (although i was able to get the new one free).

Also, at BBB I only saw the Chicco adapter.
When can they sit in the City Mini on their own?

its def not the most sturdy thing after a while. like i said we had to replace ours but BBB did it for free cause the clasp broke. we use it with our graco safeseat/snugride30.
they have both at BBB but the chicco one says in red that its for chicco. the other one works for graco, peg perego, and another brand so it doesnt say it on the front. look for the box that just says adapter without the chicco sticker. on the side of the box it should say that it works with graco. good luck!

K Thanks! Question: Does it snap the car seat in place like a SNap and Go would? My friend uses it and it doesnt snap her Graco Snugride in place AT ALL! Makes me nervous..

K Thanks! Question: Does it snap the car seat in place like a SNap and Go would? My friend uses it and it doesnt snap her Graco Snugride in place AT ALL! Makes me nervous..
on mine it snaps in somewhat. the red button underneath the car seat has to be below the bar. then you can pretty much lift up the whole stroller when you lift the carseat. it also has a clasp to keep it attached for extra safety. i guess it depends which carseat you have as to how "snapped" in it gets.

agree get the adaptor over the snap and go. i have the chicco adaptor for the city mini. it snaps in place and we use it a ton and have had no issues.

crashing...we got the snap n go and the city mini but no adapter. If I could do it over, I would just get the adapter (probably will for the next one!) Not a huge fan of the snap n go....it is hard to turn and very flimsy.
