hCG trigger ?
For those girls who get the hCG trigger shot- do you ever BD on the day you get the shot? My dr. has been telling me to BD the two days AFTER I get the shot.
Just wanted to find out what others are doing.

we tell our patients the day of HCG and for the next 2 days.

Thank you! The past couple of months we've been doing the 2 days after. I think we'll try tonight as well (day of the shot).

Just curious.. are you doing the trigger and then timed intercourse only? Are you being monitored? Im asking bc i just started clomid but will be away until CD14 so I MAY miss it... wondering if we should just  and forget the trigger shot...

When we did a medicated timed cycle, I was told the day before the shot and the day after, and has many time we can after that.

Yes, we're doing timed intercourse. After I took the clomid they monitored the growth of the follicles.
Maybe you can always just BD and then go back CD14 and see what's going on? On some cycles I hadn't Oed by CD14 so I needed the trigger.

whenever I did timed IUIs with a trigger, I would trigger the night before, then iuis the next 2 days, then we would BD the day after just to be sure. You're supposed to release the egg 24-36 after the trigger shot, so BD right after the trigger is like BD the day before O. Or at least that's the way I uunderstood it and it seemed to have worked for me

i tried to BD on the day of the trigger but in the end it probably doesn't matter that much. majority of people ovulate 24-48 hours after trigger so as long as you BD during that window you are accurately timing it.

i trigger..iuis next 2 days and we also between them idf we can and day after 2nd iui
as long as u within 24-48 hrs of triggeruing u will be fine
