Low beta?--UPDATE 8/29
Hi ladies,
Anyone have a low beta and go on to have a healthy pregnancy? I did IVF, and my beta at 4 weeks was 81, 4 weeks 2 days was 143, 4 weeks 4 days was 286, and 5 weeks was 885. Now I have to wait (not so patiently) until Monday to see if they see a heartbeat. There was a sac at my 5 week sonogram. Just looking for a little hope, as my dr. gave me a 50/50 shot.
UPDATE 8/29: We saw the heartbeat!!! Today is 6 weeks. I'm cautiously thrilled. Go back to RE next Tuesday and she said she should hear the heartbeat at that appt. Thanks for the support, ladies!!!!!

Re: Low beta?
Your numbers sound good to me as long as there doubling ever 24-48 hrs. I been reading every sure u can find. My numbers were 250, 1800, 6000, but last bw was 9990 didn't double so now Dr concerned. My progestrine # dropping also which is main concern. How is your progestrine numbers?

Re: Low beta?
your numbers seem to be doubling every 48 hours for the most part which is good. and seeing a sac is a good sign.
good luck!

Re: Low beta?
Thanks, ladies. Champ--that is very promising news!!!
I don't know my progesterone level, but I've been on progesterone shots since my egg retrieval so I don't think that's an indicator for me.
