ovulation tests - is this true?
For First Response Ovulation Tests "ONCE OPENED, THE REMAINING TEST STICKS MUST BE USED WITHIN 30 DAYS WHEN STORED IN THE CLOSED POUCH IN A COOL, DRY PLACE."
Do they really go bad if they have been open more than 30 days? Hope not have a big pack and b/c my stupid cycle was so long last month it is over 30 days that tehy have been opened.....

Re: ovulation tests - is this true?
From my understanding, after package is open they are good for 30 days from the date it was opened. I try to only buy a 30 day supply. I tihnk it's dumb they do that because they are so darn expensive!!

Re: ovulation tests - is this true?
Don't go by me, but my box of 20 sticks (CBE Digital) lasted me 3 cycles. I pretty much know when I'm going to O (and have a shorter cycle) so I didn't go through all of them in one cycle. The box has an expiration date and I just made sure to use all the sticks before then...BUT go by the directions if they say otherwise.

Um..once the BOX is opened????
Nah.
I bought the big box of 20. I took 5 months to use them (I always know when I O).
I had no problems using them.

Re: ovulation tests - is this true?
nope, i have a box of 20, going onto month 3 with the box and no issues. I think they mean if you open the individual wrapper.

I used them in the same month before being medicated. The first response all come in one package and you have to reseal it after you use each stick. The clear blue easy ones with the are individually wrapped.

I always tossed them. I bought the internet cheapies b/c they are individually packaged.

I had no idea about this. I just go by the expiration date on the box!

Also I use Clear Blue Easy so they are individually wrapped.

Re: ovulation tests - is this true?
They are not individually wrapped like the CBE -- they come in one pouch that you have to reseal. On the front of the bag it clearly states use within 30 days.
I wasn't sure if this was true (if they go bad) or if they just want you to buy more the next month.
UGH TTC is expensive!
