Alarm question
Does anyone know the answer to this?
Say you go away - and you have your house alarm on. The power goes off and stays off past the back up battery (8 hours). What happens when the power comes back on? The alarm would just turn off and then someone would have to rearm it? Or what happens?

well, usually if the alarm goes off and it's disalarmed by the homeowner, the company will contact the HO and find out what's going on.. they may in some cases send out a police car to check it out.. if the HO is away and the alarm company contacts the HO and they tell them they are not there, the HO can authorize the alarm company to reset it..
