Saw my RE this morning...*update*
who took a look inside my uterus. She didnt see the sack yet  but she did see a huge cyst.
I have been in lots of pain since I got my BFP on 8/18. She thinks its only because of the cyst, but she is checking to see if I am having an ectopic pregnancy. She sent me to the lab where they drew a few vials and are running lots of stat tests. I'll have the answer in an hour.
I wasn't nervous when I left there, but as it sank in, I am totally freaking out.
Just needed to vent this one out! Am i overeacting? Is this standard? Im very new at the pregnancy thing!

 I'm very new to the pregnancy thing too so I have no advice. My first appointment is wednesday and I'm super anxious as well. I hope and pray everything works out for you and baby

I agree. When I was seeing an RE he didn't do a sono until 6w2d. 4 weeks is verry early! And the pain could most definitely be caused by the cyst. Goodluck!

There's nothing to see at 4w! They were NOT looking for a baby yet on the sono - only for the cause of your pain. I was going to an RE too, and my first sono was at 5w5d - all you could see by that point was a sac with a yolk sac.
I had a lot of cramps in the first few weeks of my pregnancy. Hope that's all it is for you too, and that the cyst turns out to be nothing. Good luck and sticky dust!

Update!
Just heard from my RE...everything is perfect! All my levels are normal for this stage of my pregnancy! All the bloodwork was perfect. DH and I feel soooo relieved!
Thanks for all the support and hugs! Sorry for totally freaking out so early!

im surprised they would even do a sono at 4w. that is incredibly way too early to see anything. i would wait another 2 weeks, because by then there should be a heartbeat. for now you will have to rely on beta bloodwork to confirm pregnancy. the bloodwork can also show ectopic if the beta rises and falls and then rises again.
