AF question

This month I got my period on CD 41 ( I was VERY late), normally I get it every 28 days.

Normally I have AF for 4-5 days, this cycle I only had it full force for 2 days with 2 days of spotting....

*****
Let me clarify -- I have been off BCP since October. Had very normal cycles right away *(28 days).

We got pregnant in March ended in a miscarriage at 8w5d, after the D&C my period arrived 5 weeks later (just like my Dr said) and I have been every 28 / 20 days since the D&C which was in April.

We are ttc again and tested negative several times in the 2 weeks my period was late. So I know it wasn't a chemical (or if was I never tested positive).

This is why I have no idea what is going on since I have never been late. So frustrating when things go out of whack with your body especially when TTC!@!

Re: AF question

Is this your first cycle after coming off BCP?

Re: AF question

Since I started getting AF, I've gotten it every 25-28 days, sometimes earlier. There have been certain months (I'd say like 4-5) where it has come very late, like yours. I've always chalked it up to body/cycle changes. If it keeps happening consecutively, I'd prob go to the dr., but for now- I wouldn't worry. Chat Icon
It is frustrating when it happens though, esp. after being so regular.

Re: AF question

I had one whacky cycle too, and i went running to the RE. The doctor told me that it is VERY NORMAL to have at least one abnormal cycle in a lifetime, and not to have an answer as to why it happened.
She said if it keeps happening then maybe something is up..but if it just happens once not to worry.

SO, i would just try to relax and see what happens next month. That's what i'm doing..and so far so good..things seem normal..i have not had any mid-cycle spotting this month.

GL!!!
