headed to dublin with my sister in Oct. Any hotel recommendations. Looking for middle of the road, most concerned with location!

10 years ago I stayed at the Butler's Townhouse in Landsdowne. It is one block from the DART so we were able to get in and around Dublin pretty easily. If you're looking to be in City Center, though, this is not the place for you.
The room was beautiful and the food was delicious

What kind of accommodation (hotel, b&b) are you looking for? Are you willing to take public transportation to get into the city?
