pits, dobermans, rottweilers were the ones they asked us about when we got homeowners. we have a german shepherd and there was no problem.

Any-all dogs are risks.
Company will ask but as long as there are no problems in past with biting or a prior claim, the company will write it with no additional cost.
SF does.

My insurance company didn't have a problem with GDS's, just pits and rotties.
It's odd, becuase GSD's really have more jaw strength, but I'll take it since I have 2.

SF does.
SF will insure you with any of those dogs breeds BUT they will not insure you if you live anywhere near water.
They were the first ones I tried.
