38 weeks appointment today! UPDATE

Supposed to have an NST and a cervix check and to check back with what happened Monday with all those contractions and such. DH has a strong feeling they will take they want to deliver the baby today, im not so sure, I think they will make me wait until next Thursday for the c-section. I hope there is some action going on because the sheer size of this baby is so uncomfortable, I have to lasso my freakin' underwear around my feet just to put them on because I can't even bend down anymore Chat Icon and the swelling is insane!

ETA: Baby looks good, although he quite enjoyed kicking and squirming the monitors off the NST while they were trying to monitor him. The uterus machine showed alot of what they call "uterine irritability" which explains all the uncomfortableness but no contractions, she said with everything that has happened if I were contracting they could have pushed up my c-section but he is comfy in there and NO DILATION AT ALL, still! With DD I was already dilated so it looks likes we move forward with my c-section next Thursday, 6 more days and end is in sight. I go back on Monday to discuss the c-section and my OB and what will happen, apparantly there is no pre-surgical testing which i thought was odd. Baby looks good and apparantly I get an ultrasound on Monday o check the position and size of the baby, he was almost 8 lbs at 36 weeks so we shall see how big he is MOnday, kinda psyched about that.

Good luck!!! I hope there's some progress for you.

I have my 38 week appt. today as well and am hoping for something to be going on down there.

They'll only take baby today if there is a problem.

If not they'll wait till 39 weeks to be in compliance with the new guidelines saying not to deliver before 39 weeks unless its an emergency. State is starting to really monitor early deliveries.
